WILLIAM PRESTON
lived the life of an artist, translating the emotional nuance of his life experiences—from Los Angeles to Mexico City to New York and Maine. Considered a ‘painter’s painter,’ he worked in oil from the mid-80s through the late 90s. These are the finished works that remain of that prolific body of work — oils documenting his adopted home in the Southwest and his love of nature’s quiet majesty in the Shenandoah Valley.
